Platform Subscription Terms
Version 2026-07-31.1 · In force from 31 July 2026
These terms apply when a food business subscribes to a paid Easy Fuud plan or buys optional add-ons such as extra POS terminals. They sit alongside our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where they conflict on a billing matter, these terms take precedence.
The short version
- Monthly subscription, charged in advance, plus Irish VAT at 23%. It renews automatically.
- You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. No notice period, no cancellation fee.
- Cancelling stops the next payment. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
- We don't refund the unused part of a month you've already paid for.
- This is a business-to-business contract. Consumer cooling-off rights do not apply.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms form a contract between Easy Fuud ("we", "us", the "Platform"), operating from Ireland, and the business that subscribes ("you", the "Subscriber").
The person who accepts these terms confirms they are authorised to bind that business.
2. Business use only — and what that means for your rights
Easy Fuud subscriptions are sold only to businesses, for use in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession. You confirm this when you subscribe.
This matters legally. A "consumer" under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland) is a natural person acting outside their trade or business. Because you subscribe as a business, you are not a consumer for the purposes of that Act or the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), and the statutory rights reserved for consumers — including the 14-day right to cancel a distance contract and get a refund — do not apply to your subscription.
If you are not subscribing as a business, do not subscribe. Contact us at support@easyfuud.com first and we will tell you where you stand. We will honour any statutory right that does in fact apply to you, whatever these terms say.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish or EU law.
3. Plans, trials and what is included
Current plans, prices and included features are shown on our pricing page and in your dashboard under Billing & Plan. Feature limits (menu items, locations, terminals, kiosks, kitchen screens) are part of the plan you buy.
New restaurants may be offered a free trial. A trial costs nothing, requires no card, and ends automatically — it never converts into a paid plan on its own. When a trial ends you move to the free Starter plan unless you choose to subscribe.
The free Starter plan remains available indefinitely. Downgrading to Starter is not the same as deleting your account: your data stays with you.
4. Fees, VAT and recurring billing
- Recurring authorisation. When you subscribe you authorise us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method the plan fee automatically each month until you cancel. We tell you the amount, the frequency and how to cancel before you enter any card details.
- Billed in advance. Each payment covers the month ahead, taken on the same date each month (or the nearest available date in shorter months).
- VAT. Prices are quoted excluding VAT. Irish VAT at the standard rate of 23% is added at checkout. VAT-registered businesses in other EU member states may supply a valid VAT number to have the reverse charge applied where the rules allow it.
- Currency. All platform fees are charged in Euro (€).
- Invoices. A VAT invoice is issued for every payment and is available from Dashboard → Billing & Plan → Manage billing / invoices.
- Add-ons. Optional extras, such as additional POS terminals at €20 per terminal per month, are also recurring monthly charges on the same terms.
- Upgrades and downgrades. Changing plan takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated for the remainder of the current month.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any increase to your recurring fee. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect — that is your remedy, and there is no penalty for using it.
5. Payment processing
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd, registered in Ireland. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems and are never seen or stored by Easy Fuud. Your use of Stripe's checkout is additionally subject to Stripe's own terms.
This is separate from the payments your customers make to you. Those settle into your own Ryft or Stripe account under your agreement with that provider. Easy Fuud does not hold, route or take a cut of your sales income.
6. Failed payments, arrears and suspension
If a payment fails, our processor retries it and we email you. While a payment is outstanding your account is marked Payment overdue and the platform keeps working.
If payment is still not collected after the retry period, we may suspend paid features. Suspension is not deletion — restore payment and your account reactivates. We will always email you before suspending.
Fees that have fallen due before cancellation or suspension remain payable.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time, for any reason, with no notice period and no cancellation fee, directly from your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next payment; your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Fees already paid are not refunded for the unused remainder of a billing month. In particular, the following are not grounds for a refund:
- not using, or under-using, the service during a month you have paid for;
- changing your mind after subscribing;
- finding a feature harder to use, or less suitable, than you expected;
- not having set the service up, or not having completed onboarding.
We take that position because everything needed to evaluate the product is available free before you pay: a free Starter plan, a free trial, published feature lists and pricing, written guides, video walkthroughs and live support. Support, onboarding help and training are included at no extra charge on every paid plan and remain available for as long as you subscribe. If you are struggling with the product, contact us — we would rather fix it than have you cancel.
We do refund: duplicate charges, charges taken after a valid cancellation, amounts charged in error, and charges for a paid period during which we materially failed to provide the service through our own fault. We also honour any refund required by law.

8. Your content, your prices, your compliance
Easy Fuud is a software tool. You publish through it, and you are solely responsible for what you publish and for the legal compliance of your own food business. That includes:
- menu item prices, and the accuracy of every price shown to your customers;
- the tax rates you assign to items and modifiers, and your VAT treatment of sales;
- allergen, ingredient and nutritional information, and compliance with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and the FSAI's allergen requirements;
- descriptions, photographs, promotions and the terms of any offer you run;
- opening hours, delivery areas, delivery charges and minimum order values;
- holding the food business registrations, licences and insurance your operation requires.
We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect information you enter — including an item priced, taxed, or described incorrectly, an under-priced item sold at the price you set, a promotion configured more generously than you intended, or an omitted allergen. The platform displays and calculates from the data you give it. Please check your menu, prices and tax rates before you go live, and after any bulk change or import.
You keep ownership of your content and data. You grant us only the licence needed to host and display it in order to run the service for you.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep the platform available at all times and work to restore service quickly if it is interrupted, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside peak trading hours where practical and notified in advance where it will cause downtime.
Support is included on all paid plans through the in-app help centre, guides and video walkthroughs, our AI assistant, and email at support@easyfuud.com. Onboarding assistance is free.
Parts of the service depend on third parties — payment providers, hosting, printers, hardware and networks at your premises. We are not responsible for failures of systems we do not control, including your own internet connection.
10. Data protection
For the personal data of your customers, you are the data controller and we act as your data processor under Article 28 GDPR. We process that data only on your instructions and only to provide the service. For your own account and billing data, we are the controller. See our Privacy Policy.
If you cancel, your data remains accessible in your account on the free Starter plan and you can export it. If you ask us to delete your account we will do so, subject to records we are required to keep (invoices and tax records for six years under Irish revenue law).
11. Suspension or termination by us
We may suspend or terminate a subscription for non-payment, for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for unlawful use of the platform, or where we are legally required to. Except in cases of illegality or risk to others, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to put things right first. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and the version number at the top of this page changes. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect. Continuing to use a paid plan after that date means you accept the revised terms.
A revised version applies to renewals, not retrospectively to a period you have already paid for.
13. Liability
Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with your subscription in any 12-month period is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, however caused.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
Please raise any billing dispute with us first at support@easyfuud.com. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and resolve within ten. Raising a dispute with us does not affect any other right you have.
